I Think It’s Gonna Rain Today
As it has been too long since I’ve entertained you all live, a fine glass of Scotch (okay maybe not the finest, Mr. Johnny Walker Red), a gloomy Spring day, and a weekend of solitude led me to record this Randy Newman ditty. This is the first song I ever put effort in recording at the age of 9 or 10 on my cassette player in the bathroom, where the voice in my head had yet to match the voice coming out of my mouth.

Video Release “Sex at Dawn”, Starring as The Crazy Bride
“Chained by Dreams” on MTV!
Thanks to Lovecat Music, “Chained by Dreams” was placed on the MTV show, “Big Tips Texas,” in a scene soaring through the sunset-lit highway and just before the girls go shopping for sex toys. How fitting, indeed! I was always accused the song had dominatrix undertones. But who hasn’t been chained by dreams at some point or other?
Music Video and New Representation
Starting off the year right, I recently began working with Metropolis Artists Agency for theatrical representation. The feminist-empowered band, Spiral Jetty Club, cast me as the heroine in their quirky music video for “Sex at Dawn,” and I portray a woman escaped from an asylum who is going bananas over her desperate need to get married. And of course, it was more fun to play a bride than to actually be a bride.

This year is brought in with my annual shoot with John DeAmara, my favourite photographer, who I recommend to everyone. 2013 was an amazing year and I’m looking forward to what comes in the new year!
